HANDMADE PROCESS
This lovely ceramic item is handcrafted by me in a pottery studio in Cambridge, UK. It's made from stoneware clay, thrown on a pottery wheel, and then hand finished and hand decorated using a variety of traditional techniques including slip and underglaze decoration and carving. Each unique ceramic item is fired twice, once for bisque, and then a glaze firing, creating a durable and beautiful finish.
VARIATION
Kindly note: Each ceramic piece is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind, so slight variations from the photos are to be expected. These subtle differences, along with the visible signs of artisanal craftsmanship, add to the unique charm of each item. I hope you appreciate and enjoy these special details.
ITEM CARE
This stoneware ceramic is fired at 1230 degrees centigrade and is microwave, oven and dishwasher safe (though we recommend handwashing this item for extra care).
